BRAVECTO kills fleas and prevents flea infestations for 12 weeks. BRAVECTO Chew and BRAVECTO Topical Solution for Dogs kill ticks (black-legged tick, American dog tick, and brown dog tick) for 12 weeks and also kill lone star ticks for 8 weeks. BRAVECTO Topical Solution for Cats kills black-legged ticks for 12 weeks and American dog ticks for 8 weeks.

How to give to dogs

A single dose of BRAVECTO Chew should be given to the dog by mouth with food.
¹A single dose of BRAVECTO Topical Solution for Dogs should be given by parting the dog’s hair and applying the product directly to the skin between the shoulder blades.²

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION

It has not been shown to be effective for 12 weeks in puppies or kittens less than 6 months of age. Fluralaner is a member of the isoxazoline class. This class has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions including tremors, ataxia, and seizures. BRAVECTO Chew for Dogs: The most commonly reported adverse reactions include vomiting, decreased appetite, diarrhea, lethargy, polydipsia, and flatulence. BRAVECTO is not effective against lone star ticks beyond 8 weeks of dosing. Seizures have been reported in dogs receiving isoxazoline-class drugs, even in dogs without a history of seizures. Use caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders. BRAVECTO Topical Solution for Dogs: The most commonly reported adverse reactions include vomiting, hair loss, diarrhea, lethargy, decreased appetite, and moist dermatitis/rash. Bravecto is not effective against lone star ticks beyond 8 weeks of dosing. For topical use only. Avoid oral ingestion. Seizures have been reported in dogs receiving isoxazoline-class drugs, even in dogs without a history of seizures. Use caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders. BRAVECTO Topical Solution for Cats: The most commonly reported adverse reactions include vomiting, itching, diarrhea, hair loss, decreased appetite, lethargy, and scabs/ulcerated lesions. It is not effective against American dog ticks beyond 8 weeks of dosing. For topical use only. Avoid oral ingestion. Safety has not been established in breeding, pregnant and lactating cats. Neurologic adverse reactions have been reported in cats receiving isoxazoline-class drugs, even in cats without a history of neurologic disorders. Use caution in cats with a history of neurologic disorders.

Bravecto is a flea and tick prevention medication that kills fleas and ticks for 12 weeks in dogs and 12 weeks for black-legged ticks and 8 weeks for American dog ticks in cats.

It is important to note that Bravecto has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions, including tremors, ataxia, and seizures. If your dog or cat has a history of seizures or neurologic disorders, you should talk to your veterinarian before giving them Bravecto.

Bravecto should not be given to puppies  6 months of age. It is also not effective against lone star ticks beyond 8 weeks of dosing in dogs.
